The UK Alliance of Wedding Planners

We're extremely proud to be an Elite Member of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners (UKAWP), with whom Cat completed a number of courses as part of her training towards becoming a wedding planner.

The UK Alliance of Wedding Planners was founded in 2004 to promote professionalism within wedding planning, but has evolved to include industry-wide educational and networking opportunities for all wedding related businesses. Through investing in training and helping to build a professional wedding planning industry, they provide an outstanding service for couples and valuable links between planners and suppliers.

As an Elite Member of the UKAWP, not only is Fin Flükra regularly appraised to ensure the high standards of the Alliance are being met, we also commit to their Code of Business Practice:

• Respond to enquiries within 48 hours

• Respect client confidentiality

• Disclose any suppliers we have a vested interest in

• Pass discounts and/or commission onto clients

• Ensure our Public Liability insurance is up to date

• Never give client details to any third party not involved with the wedding

• Respect copyright from fellow wedding professionals

• Represent each client fairly and honestly

• Use legally sound business contracts with our clients
